The Marsh Award for Ecology is an annual award, supported by the Marsh Christian Trust and administered by the British Ecological Society. The Marsh Christian Trust was established in 1981 and contributes funding to a wide range of charities, including those working in the environmental field. The Marsh Award for Ecology recognises outstanding achievements and contributions to the science of ecology. The Award is an honorarium of £1,000 plus a certificate and is open to distinguished ecologists from anywhere in the world. The award is given annually at the BES Winter Meeting.
